About Us
We are a not-for-profit society based on SḴŦAḴ/Mayne Island, dedicated to fostering youth development, inclusivity, and community building through the power of skateboarding.

Our Mission
To empower children, teens, and newcomers to skateboarding by offering lessons and providing an inclusive recreational environment accessible to all.
​
We are currently working towards bringing into fruition a public All-Wheels skatepark that will serve as a vibrant community hub where skateboarders, roller bladers, scooters and other wheeled sport users of all ages and abilities can come together.
The All-Wheels skatepark will be an inclusive, free, and accessible amenity that promotes self-expression, creativity, and physical activity, all while breaking down social barriers and fostering a sense of belonging.
With approximately 100 children now living full-time on SḴŦAḴ/Mayne Island, the school has seen a rise in enrolment, and the daycare is operating at full capacity with a waitlist. The demand for accessible, local recreation is clearly greater than ever.​​
Off-island activities are expensive and time consuming and therefore a community-based solution is needed. An All-Wheels skatepark, designed for skateboards, bikes, scooters, and more will offer an affordable, inclusive space for physical activity and social connection.
This park will serve as a vibrant community hub, where youth can learn and grow and teens can mentor younger children. There will be a seating area where grandparents can watch their grandchildren play and families and friends can gather and connect. Programs like our Skateboard Club lessons will help foster skills and confidence, while strengthening the bonds within our community.
An All-Wheels skatepark will provide a much-needed space for movement, creativity, and belonging, supporting the well-being of the Island’s youth today and into the future.
